I just read an amazing novel – La Sombra Del Viento by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
It’s available in English as The Shadow of the Wind – but I recommend reading it in Spanish if you can.
One of the greatest pleasures of learning a new language is reading books in that language.
You get direct access to a different mindset, different culture, different perception of the world.
The same applies to the language of money and investing.
You can try and rely on translators such as bankers or advisors. . .
but unlike real translators, who tend to be enthusiasts who love their work. . .
financial “translators” mostly love to line their own pockets and make money off of your ignorance.
Once you learn the language of finance, a whole new world opens to you.
The processes of business and economics become transparent to you.
You see opportunities where others see confusing jargon.
And instead of being intimidated by terms such as stocks or bonds or ETFs. . .
you’re ready to ask – “where can I get some of that?”
If you want to build real wealth, you need to learn the language of wealth – the language of money.
I can tell you from my personal experience – it’s much easier than learning Spanish or Russian or Japanese!
